Difference between an Entrepreneur and a Businessman?

An Entrepreneur is someone who likes to undertake risks to create things and make them work. On the other hand, a Businessman is someone who enjoys growing businesses. Their characteristcs are quite diverse. It is rather difficult to find someone with both the characteristics of an Enterpreneur and a Businessman. However, sometimes you can find someone who has both of these characteristics. Thus, one really needs to ascertain whether he is an Entrepreneur, a Businessman or both.

For one who is a pure Entrepreneur, he is unlikely to manage a business well because he likes to undertake risks to create things and make them work. This will result in him overlooking business and profitability issues. Thus, it is advisable for an Entrepreneur to learn when to delegate their business to a Businessman who is an expert in growing businesses, despite the fact that the Businessman did not create the business himself.
